Damaged | The Series

This series was born out of constraint—one month, nine massive canvases, no room for perfection.

Each piece in Damaged was created during a stretch of my life that mirrored the work itself: raw, fast-moving, unpredictable, and deeply human. I’m a father, a partner, an art teacher, a busy artist trying to balance love, chaos, and creative ambition. I didn’t have time to polish these paintings—and that became the point.

They are intentionally unfinished.
“Damaged,” not broken.
Like most things worth anything.

What you see here are fragments of dreams, moments of momentum, ideas mid-transformation. Surreal cities sprouting from eyes, overgrown by mushrooms. Urban chaos blooming with psychedelic roots. It’s a visual meditation on burnout, imagination, and the beauty that can grow when you let go of control.

This isn’t about perfection.
It’s about permission—to create, to try, to be.

Thank you for holding space for the in-between.
