About the Event
Join profesisonal Artist and Teacher, Marc Blackwell, for a morning full of art and creatitivy! Marc has been teaching art since 2018 and facilitates creative backyard sessions for children and adults.
Little Artists will be greeted with a simple art prompt while we wait for our friends to arrive. Once all artists have checked-in, we will break out the art project for that week and start getting creative! Marc will provide simples directions for the project, but artists have creative freedom to create whatever they like!
Little Artists can enjoy the community art wall where everyone is encouraged to particpate in a collective painting. We also love to explore the nature in the backyard to gain inspriation and build new friendships while looking for rolley-polleys.
Students will be able to take their artwork home.
Please bring drinking water, have your children wear masks, and clothes you don't mind getting messy. We are working with real acrylic paint, and other artistic materials and most of it does not come out of clothes.
